So, we mods here at [info]herdevioussmirk got to ask Sierra some pretty cool questions for the community. Here's what we came up with and here are her responses. Nothing but love for this girl! (please credit if you guys post this anywhere, thanks!)

HDS: Who do you look up to most in the music industry and how have they inspired you?
Sierra
i honestly dont know.... lots of people have inspired me musically, i can hear it in my voice, little bits and pieces of everything i loved while growing up and things i hear now. but ive never been the type of person to have an idol or a hero that i hung a picture of up on my wall. my mom never led me in a direction to be dependent on a famous person, she always taught me that it was my job to be my own hero.

HDS: What goes into your typical day? Do you have any routines?
Sierra
my routine changes every month, depends on where i am.
on tour i usually wake up, roll out of wherever i slept in, attempt to put on a different outfit, crawl in the van, eat some bird food, drink a hot tea, laugh with the boys about stupid stuff the whole van ride, collect odd things from gas stations and when i arrive to the venue i get distracted and fart around till we play, and thats why i always look like i just rolled out of bed, because i did!

HDS: What is your dream tour lineup? Who would you like to tour with most?
Sierra
i think itd be muse! or circa.

HDS: How would you describe your outlook on life?
Sierra
my outlook on life is that our time in this world is very very short and we cant waste time holding ourselves back and being scared that things might not go according to plan. i may just be one person, whos kind of crazy and made tons of mistakes but i have a lot to tell my grand kids. live in the moment and dont think twice!

HDS: What advice would you give to young girls who look up to you?
Sierra
i would tell them that if they have a dream they need to go after it because if you want something so bad it hurts youll make it happen for yourself.

HDS: If one of Lady Gaga's songs were written about you, which would it be?
Sierra
"happy in the club with a bottle of red wine, stars in our eyes cuz we're havin a good time, so happy i could die" this song makes me feel happy and it makes me appreciate all the things i get to do and the friends ive made

HDS: What are some songs that would be on the soundtrack of your life?
Sierra
wow i cant answer this one right away, every time i get questions like this i take it way to seriously and have to really think about it so ill get back to ya.

HDS: Aside from Wicked what are some of your dream roles in musical theater?
Sierra
i actually just want to sing the songs they get to perform.
hair! one of my favorite musicals of all time
bye bye birdie- rose alverez
rent- maureen
avenue q- kate monster
thoroughly modern millie
once on this island- even tho im not black
the wild party
putnam county spelling bee
spring awakening
all that jazz & fosse
little shop of horrors
fame
gypsy
porgy and bess

HDS: Has being a female in the music industry founds you stuck in certain stereotypes? How do you break free of that?
Sierra
yes for obvious reason, but i really dont notice it. im not going to try to do anything specific so people will think of our band differently. we're just gunna do our thing that comes naturally and it will all fall into place

HDS: When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up and how did that evolve into who you are today?
Sierra
always wanted to be a performer. i did theatre for a long time, i was in love with it. i was goofy enough for it too ha. then i started dancing and i fell in love with that, so i dreamt of going to new york and becoming a broadway star or going to california and pursue more dancing and become a pop artist. but while i was in high school i had freedom to discover other things and i was trying to figure out who i was which led me to start hated acting and putting myself out there for everyone to judge, it was a mean competition in the theatre and dance world and it started affecting me. i was never quite good enough, it was either my voice wasnt in control, or i was to flaky and unreliable to take on a big role or i wasnt pushing myself hard enough in dance, and i slowly began to not participate and was more wrapped up in my life out of school with my friends who were in bands and going to shows. it was more exciting to me. i wanted to be in band, it was more fitting. so when i found versa i knew that was my only chance and i had to go for it.
honestly i dont think i could have made it this far without my training in theatre or dance. i had to learn fast, practice a lot, lead a band, give up my friends, my free time and not crack under the pressure, which ive been doing most my life. just proves everything happens for a reason!

HDS: Who is your biggest personal influence? (not a celebrity)
Sierra
my mother. she is such a good lady. always helping people. she is very wise. i listen to every word she says... for the most part.

HDS: You are always kind and responsive to your fans, what is your perspective on Versa fans?
Sierra
i think you guys are amazing. its seriously a dream of mine coming true when people tell me i inspire them or that im there hero or that our band helped them in some way. i remember going to show always wondering what it would be like to just talk to someone in the band and see what theyre like and thats why i encourage people to talk to us because i know thats what theyre thinking!
plus you guys care about us and support us non stop, thats whats going to make us successful.

HDS: If someone were to make a snowperson based on you, what would it look like?
Sierra
haha it would be short, frumpy, have twigs for hair, kiwis for eyes and a button for a mouth.

HDS: What are your guilty pleasures?
Sierra
pop music. bspears, lady gaga, pussy cat dolls, danity kane(rip), girls aloud, katy perry, cobra starship, paule de'ande ha shit like that

HDS: As you become increasingly more famous, do you worry about having no personal life or losing touch with who you are off stage?
Sierra
I hope not, and if i do im sure my mom will slap me right back into my senses. also mike finn, our tour manager/ bestfriend, he always lets me know if im being a total diva bitch.

HDS: If you had the power to change whatever you wanted in the world what would it be? And why?
Sierra
world peace of course! but seriously as much as we hear it, thats because its true, all we need is peace.

HDS: What is something that happened to you with VersaEmerge that you would never ever forget?
Sierra
traveling to the uk, arriving to the very first venue hours before doors even open and seeing a group of kids already lined up wearing versa shirts. UNREAL!

HDS: What is something random people may not know about you?
Sierra
if im not sitting indian style or bunched up in ball im sprawled out on the floor with my legs over my head or something.
